Abstract
Studier gjorda på Linköpings universitet har visat att vissa barn lär sig läsa med gott läsflyt men får problem med läsförståelse. Läsförståelseproblemen blir inte tydliga förrän barnen gått ett antal år i skolan, men kan förklaras av språkliga nedsättningar som finns redan i förskoleåldern. Dessa resultat är av stor vikt för praktiserande lärare eftersom de berörda eleverna behöver uppmärksammas och stöttas i sin språkutveckling.
